Why this fabric
When keeping water out is the job, coated polyester is the answer — a tightly woven base sealed with PU, PA, milky or silver coating and a PFC-free DWR top finish. It is the fabric behind rainwear, outdoor shells and protective covers that need defined water resistance without feeling heavy.
We tune the coating to your target rather than offering one fixed spec: a 100% polyester base around 70–150 gsm with coating weight set from light water-resistant shells to fully waterproof, seam-sealable rainwear. PFC-free chemistry meets tightening EU and brand environmental requirements.
